Two important autograph letters signed, dated Metz le 16 sept le spor à 7heures 1744 and Metz le 18 sept. 1744 by the Prussian Generalfeldmarshall, addressed to Emperor Charles VII, concerning the preparation of the Second Slesian war in 1744. We report an extract as an example: “…Comme M. D’allion est parti le 17 après midy, pour aller en passant trouver Votre Majesté en Bohème, afin de recevoir d’Elles les inflactions necessaires, je lui ai donné avec une lettre pour V.M. dont je joins ici la copie…”.
